9 Works Theatrical is Manila’s newest Theatre Company.

We are dedicated to delivering only the best plays and musicals -- either originally written or from both Broadway and the West End.

We aim to produce only the finest work by training and utilizing the most passionate professional performers, crew and creative designers.

Our ultimate goal is to contribute to Manila’s developing theatre industry by making theatre a stable working environment where all its practitioners and followers can live and breathe live theatre. This inherent lifestyle will sanguinely produce more sound productions, making the audience’s theatre-going experience not only habitual, but keen as well.

9 Works Theatrical is headed by:

Robbie Guevara - Resident Actor and Director, Repertory Philippines. He has performed in a multitude number of productions both here and abroad and was the Director of 9 Works Theatrical’s premiere production, Jason Robert Brown’s Songs For A New World; I Love You Because, A Christmas Carol, A Fiddler on the Roof, Gay Birds and Romance, Romance for Repertory Philippines; Bat Boy, The Musical for Blue Repertory; and Heart & Music and The Rhythm of Life for the Philippine Opera Company.

Mio Infante - There are only two (2) known Scenographers in the Philippines, and Mio is one of them. He finished his Master of Arts in Scenography/Theatre Design at the Wimbledon School of Art in London (1997) after gaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at the University of the Philippines (1991). Mio has worked with most of the major theatre companies and production houses in the Philippines. A founding member of the Philippine Association of Theatre Designers and Technicians (PATDAT), he serves as national chair to the OISTAT (Organisation Internationale du Scenographers, Theatre Architects et Techniciens) Education Commission.  Mio was recipient of the Merit Award for Best Production Design for his work on FLING TVC, at the 1993 Philippine Advertising Congress.  He was also named 1999 Natori Fellow by the NY-based Asian Cultural Council (Rockefeller Brothers Fund) and was awarded a 2005 Citation for Excellence by the Senate of the Island of Guam for his costume designs.

Santi Santamaria - Corporate head but avid Theatre-buff, Santi brings his expertise by heading the company’s Marketing and Sales Team. His task of widening audience membership and alluring corporate sponsorship is perhaps the most challenging of all. Yet, he embraces it with inspiring enthusiasm.
